“Assassins Creed 3″ is one of the most highly anticipated games ever. Taking place during the Revolutionary War between America and England, this game focuses on the sheer brutality of warfare and combat using the weapons of the age.
The weapons for this game are very period, and many of them are inspired by the choices favored by American fighters. The tomahawk for instance, with all the deadliness of a boarding ax, is one of the favored weapons. But there’s also the bow and arrow, and the silent death of a rope that you can hang opponents with. There are of course other weapons in the game, ranging from muskets and other guns all along the line to daggers and other, close in weapons.
The tactics are what really make this particular game different though. All the animation was revamped from the ground up, allowing you to wade through large groups seamlessly. Alternative moves have also been created specifically for this game, such as the ability to grab an enemy and hold him in front of you like a shield, allowing him to take the musket balls meant for you. It’s that sort of creativity that “Assassins Creed 3″ offers.
